Luke from Shadows of the Empire
Seen here is a conversion from Luke in his Bespin outfit. I simply filed off the extra pockets and Blaster. Also since the Shadows of the Empire novel cover had Luke wearing his glove, though we actually don't see him wear it until the beginning of Return of the Jedi, I also painted his glove on his bionic hand. |

Cyborged Wookiee
Another conversion using the Chewbacca figure. I cut off the front of his crossbow and pinned on an axe from Reaper's Dungeon Dweller Accessory set. I also carved out part of his right eye, inserted a pin, and puttied around it, sculpting it slightly giving it a cybernetic look. The strap is simply a strip of newsprint and a small piece of wire bent to the shape of a buckle. |

Han Solo
A good example of how you can paint the same figure two different ways giving them two distinct costumes. The figure sculpt is from Star Wars: A New Hope, as denoted by the retangular padding on the back of the vest and the v-front on his undershirt. But by painting the arms you get his jacket as worn in The Empire Strikes Back. He also wears his gold "Blood Stripe" on his brown pants while wearing his red stripe on his blue pants. |

Ten Tumb
A mistake on WEG's part named this figure Nein Numb, Lando's co-pilot of the Millenium Falcon during Return of the Jedi. Instead the sculpt shows that of a fighter pilot much like the Sullustan, wearing similar to what a B-Wing pilot's uniform appears, seen during the Ewok celebration. Many fans agreed that this was an entirely different character and has since been dubbed Ten Tumb in the literature. Ten Tumb also becomes a fatality during the first Dark Empire comic book series. |

Rebel Pilot
This figure is another candidate on how painting the same figure different will yield another distinct character. Shown here is the pilot painted as Luke, though with a different helmet graphic could be Wedge, or different helmet and a mustache could be Biggs. |

Shistavanen Wolfman
The first figure I had of this guy I had painted him as Lak Sivrak, but he alas had a accident during a show when the display fell over and is currently on my workbench awaiting a cybernetic arm. This newer figure is painted up in green camoflage and is used in my commando squad. |

Old Senatorial - Minor Jedi - Tongue Tied Engineer
3 minor characters who never made it into the movie, but were published in the RPG. Since there were no official paint schemes for these characters, players were free to choose on how they should look. I decided to paint them as people you might encounter on the street, but based the Engineer loosely off of various Rebel Technicians seen in the 3 films. |

Noghri
One of the last sets of figures to be released which coincided with the 2nd Edition of the RPG, Miniature Battles, and the 3 new "Zahn Trilogy" sourcebooks. I painted them a military grey to go with the fact Noghri hide well in the shadows. When the new Star Wars RPG from Wizards of the Coast was released, a drawing in the rulebooks shows the Noghri to be a dark green color. |

Since Star Wars had ethnic and gender diversity, I decided to pain a squad of standard grunt soldiers the same way. Even a few of the soldiers wear a "Blood Stripe". This was to denote squad leaders or specialists. |

Another example of two different painting schemes. The "Interior" officers tended to wear the khaki vest while the "Outdoor" grunts tended to wear the full white uniform. I also painted a moustache on one because we all can't forget our favorite postman from Cheers playing Major Bren Derlin. |

Not much to say about this one. I entered him alongside R5 in the same show and this one didn't even place. I painted him up as the original Kenner action figure with the exception of a little Rustall to give it a worn look. |
